We're an independent publishing start-up that launched in March 2020. We're different to most other publishers, particularly the more well known ones, because we focus on cross-genre novels that don't easily fit into a single category. To give you an example, our current favourites are action adventure thrillers that also include crime, romance and travel - now there's an exciting mix, but probably not one that many publishers would be comfortable with!
The first cross-genre book we published was 'Reasonable Doubt' by Craig Lawrence. It came out in March 2020 as both a paperback and an e-book and it's getting fab reviews. You can see it on Amazon by clicking the image or following this link.
Craig Lawrence spent 33 years as a Gurkha officer in the British Army, serving overseas for much of his career and commanding his Gurkha battalion on operations in the Balkans and in Africa. He also deployed to Afghanistan for a year to support the Afghan Presidential elections before leaving the Army in 2016. He has written 5 books, two of which, both Gurkha histories, have been Amazon bestsellers. When her brother is killed in a diving accident, journalist Amélie Lagarde asks ex-Gurkha Harry Parker to help her investigate. Together they get drawn into a desperate battle between an ambitious Prime Minister, the intelligence services and the world’s most wanted terrorist, leaving them with no choice but to take matters into their own hands. 'Reasonable Doubt' was published by the Ginger Pirate Press in late March 2020. Click on the image above or the button below to find out more and see the book on Amazon.
'The Legacy' was published by Firestep Press in May 2015 and is the first of the 'Harry Parker' action adventure thrillers. It tells the story of how Parker, adventurer and ex-Gurkha officer, and Lucy Masters, a feisty and resourceful academic, come together with a small band of Gurkhas to take on one of the City of London's most ruthless bankers. Containing over 530 photographs and with a foreword by HRH Prince Charles, the book provides a complete pictorial history of this famous regiment.
